Part A.

3 12 - 13 year old boys walk into centre ville at Iles des Saintes with 10 Euros to purchase 6 pain au chocolat before checking out of villa for ferry ride back to main land. How many pain au chocolat will they purchase? How many do they return to villa carrying? How many Euros will they have left over?

Part B.

If the boys do not return as expected for check out and there are 6 valises, 6 backpacks and 1 family world school supply bag, 2 adults and one small child, how many bags much each remaining person carry up and over the mountain road to reach the ferry port on time?

Part C.

If the 3 people left behind decide it’s not humanly possible, partly due to unexpected pouring rain, how many euros does it cost to take a taxi to Ferry Port, store said baggage in Office de Tourism until children are found, and dry off in bathroom?   

Part D.

How many pain au chocolat did each boy consume if there was no pastry or euro left when adults found boys sitting aimlessly on bench in centre ville?
